Moomaw, Fall Upon Us Tour

It’s harvest season, autumn. In North American English we refer to it as “fall”, a word cutely referring to the action of leaves during the season. Or perhaps it’s a reference to the fall of the year itself. Well, I tumble, I fall, I roll, I ramble:

Let the children gather round, Wearing masks and crowns

Tomorrow is set to become Halloween at midnight. I’ve foraged my way back to the United States to play shows starting with an experimental show tomorrow night. Moomaw plays first at 8pm:

Friday Oct 30 8:00pm (SHARP!) - 1:00am
The Stockholm (warehouse space in SOMA) - 1125 Folsom at 7th, San Fransicko
COST: donations ok
BANDS: Take Up Serpents, Hogwind, Pale Reverse, Rigor Mortis Clitaurus (SF), Horseflesh (Amphibious Lights), West of Utopia , Moomaw (Spain), Chrome Bonus Genie Beast , Nerfabau, Amir Coyle!!
FOOD/DRINKS: Some food will be provided. Bring something to share.
COSTUMES: Wear a costume if u want…most of these performers will be doing so

Places to play and see

This week Moomaw will be playing with San Francisco’s West of Utopia in Madrid and Barcelona. In Madrid they will be playing alongside the lovely folk stylings of The Singer Not The Song and back in Barcelona they will be playing with the always wonderous The Not Knowing. From there the 2 bands will be venturing around Europe and playing at least to themselves.

The Road Beckons Miwa and Myself

I had a very strange dream last night about traveling around around in a large van, playing shows and sharing drinks with strangers. Then I woke up and realized that I’m leaving for tour quite soon and that dreams like this are natural. Please come see me play as I tour the West Coast of our country with Miwa Gemini.
